Privacy Policy

This explains what personal data Mesioye Exclusives collects, why, and how it’s handled. We aim to comply with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and similar regulations.
1. What we collect
Name and email (when you sign up), your login activity and the devices you use to log in (to enforce the 2-device limit and keep your account secure), your course progress and enrollment history, and payment records (handled by Paystack — we receive confirmation of payment, never your card number).
2. Why we collect it
To create and secure your account, deliver the courses/cohorts/mentorship/tools you’ve paid for, watermark video playback with your identity (so leaked recordings can be traced back to the account they came from), send you transactional emails (enrollment confirmation, new-device notices, abandoned-checkout reminders), and improve the product.
3. Who else sees it
We use a small number of service providers to run this site: Supabase (database and authentication), Paystack (payment processing), VdoCipher (secure video hosting/DRM), and Resend (transactional email). Each only receives the data it needs to do its job — for example, VdoCipher receives your name/email only to watermark your video sessions.
4. Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies: one to keep you logged in, and one (httpOnly, unreadable by any script) that identifies your device for the device-lock feature described in our Terms. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
We retain your account and enrollment data for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with tax/financial record-keeping obligations after that.
6. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account, by emailing support@mesioyexclusives.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
7. Security
Access to your data is restricted at the database level (row-level security), payment webhooks are cryptographically verified, and secrets are never exposed to the browser. See our Terms for more on how video access is protected.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the date at the top reflects the latest version.
